We were awarded the Main Prize of the German Conference on Pattern Recognition (GCPR) 2013 for our paper on “Efficient Multi-Cue Scene Segmentation”. The corresponding “Daimler Urban Segmentation Dataset” is now publicly available as well.
A pioneering achievement: The first autonomous long-distance drive in rural and urban traffic with close-to-production sensors. Mercedes-Benz S-Class INTELLIGENT DRIVE drives autonomously in the tracks of Bertha Benz. Our team was responsible for stereo-vision-based 3D scene understanding.
Two new publications: “Towards Multi-Cue Urban Curb Recognition” (IV Symposium) and “Efficient Multi-Cue Scene Segmentation” (accepted for GCPR).
